Information Collection and Usage

When you sign up for our service, you will be asked to provide some required contact information. For some services we will also ask you to provide required demographic information. The information you provide will be used in the following ways:

  • To activate your MyTT account. To do this, we will ask for your username, name, email address, password, and time zone.
  • To send you personalized, targeted information regarding your account, enhancements to our service and in certain cases special offers on how to better take advantage of our service. To do this, we may ask for information on what types of devices you use, what files, applications and settings you wish to manage.
  • In certain cases, to contact you for feedback and surveys.
  • To connect to your mobile phone. To do this, we will collect your country, wireless carrier, phone model, and phone number.
  • To provide you services through our partners. We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include providing custom private label services, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. These groups have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but cannot use it for other purposes.
  • To conduct a business transfer. As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy services or assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that MyTT, Inc., or all of its substantial assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets. However, the data you have stored in your digital vault will continue to only be viewable by you. That data will remain both password protected and encrypted, and will not be viewable or accessible by MyTT or any entity that may acquire our service.

When you use our service, we will be collecting and storing data from your computer, devices, applications and files on your behalf. This is the data you will be managing in your MyTT account. We also use unique identifying information available on your devices to assist in the authentication and verification of the part of your MyTT account. We do not and will not use this information in any other way, including for marketing purposes. Only you will have access to the data you manage in your MyTT account via the password you create when you activate your account (provided that you keep your username and password to yourself). MyTT has security measures in place that are designed to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of any data that is submitted to MyTT. For additional information governing the terms under which you manage your data in your MyTT account, please refer to the MyTT Services Agreement you agreed to when you established your MyTT account.

Cookies and log files

MyTT sometimes uses cookies and log files to store and track information about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. We will use information from cookies and log files to deliver relevant information to you and collect information we need to administer our service to you. In order for you to use our service we require that you have cookies enabled on your computer.

This site may contain links to other sites. MyTT is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these linked sites, because their privacy practices may differ from ours.

Mail-to links

MyTT websites contain mail-to links for submitting information to MyTT. Information sent to MyTT, Inc., such as resumes and requests to be contacted, is treated as confidential and is not shared with any third parties.

Residents of the European Economic Area

In signing up for a MyTT account, you consent to MyTT processing your personal information and data for the purposes of performing our obligations under this agreement. We will use your information for account administration and for the purposes described in this privacy policy. Your information and data will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States. European data protection law does not apply in the United States, but we will process your information and data in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy.

Notwithstanding anything else stated in this Privacy Policy, MyTT reserves the right to disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to (1) comply with legal process, (2) respond to any claims against it, or (3) protect the rights, property or personal safety of MyTT, our customers or the public.

Updating Account Preferences

Your account profile is available to you online and you can update your information yourself. To change your preferences, simply log into your MyTT account and go to Options, then Manage Account.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

MyTT reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we plan to use your information in a manner other than that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will email users, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
